I'm sort of in a bad sitaution right now. I have one of those emotionless, expressionless unnecessarily cruel teachers for AP Stats. Right now things got a little out of hand. Before I had this teacher, I was in another AP stats class with an awesome teacher, however the scheduling was all wrong and I was switched with this teacher who seems to be sort of a bully and all the things described above. So on Monday this week, (last week being the first week of the school year) we took a small quiz. Unfortunately I lost my folder with all my homework in the ensuing chaos of the first starting school week and I was not able to do the homework section of the quiz so she made an exception. I got to do the second section and I pretty much bombed it. So what happens? She tells me (the day after the quiz when we got it back) to see her personally after-school.
I go see her after school since I have AP stats at the end of the day, then she asks me if I think I should be taking this class. She asks me to reconsider everything, then she subtlety called me a liar because she questioned me if the homework was done right before in the morning I handed her the homework (since I lost my binder and I found it later and so one of the pages happened to be missing when I handed her the homework that Tuesday morning and I rushed to give it to her later that same morning where I told the clerk in the school math office to put it in her mailbox). She asks me if I am struggling with this class, and basically she threatened me in a subtle way (showing no emotion of course) that she thought I shouldn't be taking this class and inquired if I am really struggling with this class. I told her no and it was more of an effort thing and I told her I have been slacking off the first week of school. So we have a test on Friday (the Friday that past) and she said that if I don't show her that I can do well then she will talk to me personally and in her words "reconsider taking this class for the rest of the semester". SHE IS WILLING TO DROP ME AND BE A BITCH FOR A FREAKING MEDIUM QUIZ ON LIKE THE FIRST QUARTER OF SCHOOL, she apparently has made up her mind about me and was willing to bully me into quitting this class (kind of tells you about her personality).
After I left school those words made my entire world shattered. I mean I just felt destroyed because I want to do well this year. So the following night I can't think of anything else to do, I can't even do my homework and I can't even think clearly, I started filling dizzy and weak and worst of all I'm scared to even touch my AP stats textbook. So the night before Friday, I study what I have to but I'm struck by this massive headache and a sore throat. So this morning I wake up and the headache is worse then before. I go to school then to the school library and I see my friend doing his AP stats homework. He needed some help and I found out that apparently he too was threatened by my AP stats teacher that if he didn't do well on the test then she will talk him into leaving this class. He told me that he started asking questions and then she started to spare him because, to her, he seemed to be inquisitive. That morning it got worse and it climaxed when I went to take the test last period of the day. Luckily there was a sub in her place, and the fever/headache was so horrible that I ended up not finishing the test. I tell the sub about how I was feeling, (I didn’t go to the nurse before the test because I didn’t want the bitch to think I was bailing out). So the sub tells me to write a letter and stick on the test and tells me “I guess you’ll have to wait and see if she buys it” (since apparently he thinks I’m trying to deceive the teacher as well). So I write the letter and I write on the letter pleading her to make her give me an alternative re-take test. So here I am right now worrying my ass off, and just thinking on what to do. I can’t afford to drop any classes or screw up this school year, so tell me, what would you do and how would you feel in this situation?

i don't think a teacher can really kick you out of their class

whoa dude you had a massively emotional reaction to that. Just chill out, ace the next test, and get on with it.

The first thing you need to do is calm down. Your year is not ruined if you don't take AP stats and honestly, I don't think it'll make a damn of a difference in the rest of your life. It doesn't help the situation at all for you to worry.
If you think you can do it, then just work hard at understanding all the material and prove your teacher wrong. From a highschool teacher's pov, there's a shit load of students who lie about losing stuff and being sick to get out of doing work. She's a jerk for questioning you like that, but she's not unreasonable. Just concentrate on yourself instead.

Wait, she doesn't want you taking the class because you're struggling? That's just stupid. Look, don't drop a class because it's too difficult, honestly, I pity those who do that. Look at it this way...when colleges look at how you did in the class, are they going to see how you struggled a bit in the beginning or your final grade? Just go for it. Be fearless. Drink Red Bull. Climb a mountain.

I stopped before the final paragraph because I can't concentrate with the massive sounds of armies getting slaughtered behind me (my computer is too close to the ps3 right now) but I think I got the gist of it from the first parts.
It seems to me like your teacher is A) a bitch; and B) trying to scare people out of her class who she suspects won't ace the AP. This is pretty common nowadays. What you can do after thinking long and hard about if you actually want to follow through with this class or not, is tell your parents your teacher is bullying you into leaving the class (and no she can't easily have you removed if your school is at all typical). Start by having them complain at most 1 level above her. If that goes nowhere, have them go up another level to AP etc... if your parents aren't supporting you in this, there won't be much you can do. If the school/district suspects the teacher of bullying kids out, the teacher is going to cover her tracks and stop doing anything like that.
Btw I'm going against the order even telling you this.
Edit: if another student's parents complains similarly to yours, the effects should multiply. It's really easy to write off one student's parents as crazy, but not several.

lol faggot teachers always say that. when I was taking english honors my teacher would always subtlety tell me to drop the class. But I kept persisting and ended up taking AP Literature and AP Language and did well in both classes

Well there's actually a time and a place where a teacher should try to scare a student out of a class, but most of the time it's just the teacher doing something (s)he shouldn't.

To be honest, I don't think the teacher is that out of line from doing this. When you deal with "lost homework" and "major headache" in the first week of school, it's kinda fishy.

You should see what I'm doing with my classes this first couple of weeks
But it will be across the board... not targeting students.

Are teachers allowed to force students to drop classes? If so, 1/4 of my IB class should be gone by now -_-

I'm sorry I mixed things up, I lost my my things in the first week of school and I took the quiz monday, I couldn't find it in the weekand and I couldn't go to the school since it closed and shut down secure and no one is there. Sorry but I geuss that can clear thing ups, also the teacher has quite a notorious reputation among students for her personality. TBH AP stats isn't hard at all and its one of the easiest weighted classes in the school, I know I can ace the class but the biggest obstacle right now is this bitch.
I will admit that I bombed the first quiz because of lack of effort and not listening to the teacher but really I'm not struggling. Also half the kids in the class only study for like 10 minutes and only less then 1/4 try, a slacker kid admitted this class was nothing.

Alright, well then just concentrate on your work and ignore her comments as best you can. When you make it through you'll be a better person for getting past the bitch.

I don't understand why you're so agitated. If you're not struggling, then just ace the test and she can't say shit.
Also, if you've only been doing horrible since the start of the term, it's not unreasonable for a teacher to suggest you take a lower level class...

The problem is how I'm going to continue if she decides to interrogate and then try to drop me.

Its reasonable if a quarter (3 months-5 months) has passed and I failed every test (which isn't the case), this is only like a medium sized quiz on like the second starting week of the entire school year. I probably can ace the test but what 'm about concerned is if she's willing to give me a re-take since the whole sickness fiasco.

All that teacher wants is some decent marks. Give it to her and she'll stop bugging you. Also, first impressions are so important in high school imo. If you get on their good side, you can basically do w/e you want and they'll trust you.

legally in my school i couldn't be kicked off a course I had chosen.

Ignore her and just do the work. Stats isn't that hard, especially at the beginning, so just read your textbook, mostly ignore her in class, and then do well on the tests.
Don't get emotional about it. There are very few things that are worth emotionally breaking down like you did about, and a bitchy teacher certainly isn't one of them.
