Although that summer made me paranoid about gas cylinders even more than I was before. Someone's setup that I was to use blew out a fairly large shard of glass that slammed into the hood's front or back (I don't know, it was going really fast, probably could have killed someone). And that was when a grad student who knew what he was doing was working on it for me. Didn't help all the regulators seemed slightly defective. And speaking of gases, my inorganic professor admits he almost killed of an entire senior glass by screwing up with a cylinder of HCl gas. That would be quite nasty... | ||
