Edit: No, I'm an idiot. I call every "second" village of each Pokemon world Viridian city since that's what it was for me. I think the reason I could buy Masterballs is because the download site I got it from included something titled "cheat list pokemon 386.clt" | ||

If you still haven't caught Registeele you should try putting him to sleep or something. I remember my fuckin pro Articuno froze and left the Mewtwo with 4 HP left so I threw one Ultra Ball and owned that mofo in Yellow. Man, Yellow, Red, Blue were the best. I still have Pearl <_>. Beat it though. My Dragonite and Charizard own. | ||

Heck, even Fire Fang works sometimes. Flamethrower has more PP, more accuracy, and is the fire move of choice (albiet weaker). The only reason you would use Overheat is to force a pokemon lacking in S. Attack to possibly OHKO things, in which case I think Fire Blast is better for its sweep potential. | ||

At the Elite Four, the only time when I had to load state was when the only Pokemon left was a high level Lapras, like 82, and it was Toxic'd, where one more turn of Poison would kill it. I was switching between my two high HP pokemon, Slaking and Hariyama, in order to stall until it died; they were my only two left alive, and I didn't have time to Revive. Slaking dies, I switch to Hariyama, ONE MORE FUCKING TURN WOULD WIN IT FOR ME, "Enemy Lapras used Sheer Cold, it's a One-hit KO!" FUCK I had to load state to just after the first Elite Four and do it again FUCK. | ||

I'm scared. My Pikachu gained 7 levels through fighting the trainers in the water gym, but it's only level 56 :x. And granted I only beat it through generous save stating to make sure that damn Kingdra didn't Rest and it stayed paralyzed while my Pikachu pounded on it with Thunderbolts... My highest level pokemon is my level 63 Pelipper, which I hardcore trained 15 levels by fighting the swimmers between Mossdeep and Pacifidog just so I could beat the Psychic gym by using Golem + Pelipper Earthquake.. and I had to abuse save state for that too EDIT: God I love Calm Mind, I used to laugh at any stat effect moves, but Calm Mind is such a beastly move when it's psychic vs psychic | ||
