On the first night of launch the servers as well as the website crashed for about Eight hours. And it just seemed to go downhill from there. Negative reviews, bugs upon bugs that made the game unplayable and crash. Players being billed multiple times, pretty much pissed off players everywhere.
But FSS patched the game constantly which fixed some things but also introduced more bugs. The game since then has been out for some eight months I think and has already had new content introduced, Stonehenge. But the player base it seems to be pretty much nonexistent at this point.
Well tonight I was bored and was just randomly webs surfing when I went to the HGL forums and went into the Test Center discussion and tried to read the longest patch notes I have ever seen for any game. It is 2.0 which has apparently been on the Test Center for about a month and half now, I think.
Maybe this patch will get rave reviews and many more players will come back and subscribe giving the company a big boost to help them. Because in my opinion independent game studios are the companies that keep making better games.
Patch 2.0 Notes, which has already gone through 4 builds.
