I mean holding a speech in front of a lot of strangers can be a bit awkward, and no I dont hang out with him anymore, fact is i havent seen him in a couple of years but he still regards me as his closest friend which moves me and well we are (were) close. You should do it to embarrass him and make people laugh... but within reasonable bounds, and still showing a lot of respect. You want people to be laughing at him but while still liking him. e.g. one line I used was something like "He's the sort of caring guy who when his bratty little brother threw a tantrum and starting attacking him, he wouldn't fight back at all - in fact he'd hold out his hand for me to bite. You know... a WIMP." Tell embarassing stories that aren't too incriminating.  End it with a serious, genuine toast though. | ||
