I just recently got into popping because of my friend. We're part of mike song's class = P
Idk if he's teaching over the summer though.

I'm a popper... don't really post much on here really, just lurk hehehe.
TBH don't like the show that much. Really shows how a lot of the underground Hip-Hop dances are watered down and commercialized.
Saw Do Knock on there though! Glad at least one set of real dancers got through. Choreo is pretty crap imo.
I represent West Coast Popping. Flying snow, if you ever come back and read this you should drop that class w/ Mike Song, and hit up Homeland for some real popping lessons.

kaba and jabba were easily top tier. status quo was kept by the producers, probably so they wouldnt have two west coast / socal crews in the finals.

ABDC is a cool show, but it's annoying how a lot of people are on the bandwagon for the JabbaWockeez. Don't get me wrong because they're a great dance team, but honestly we have people copying them for talent shows and every crew on the show said they want to inspire people to dance, NOT copy. Also idiots saying "oh _____ crew sucks and they just copy off of the JabbaWockeez". Pretty much anyone who has little knowledge in dancing would refer to Jabba as the dancing gods.
As for the 2nd season, it was horrible how Fanny Pak was chosen... The only dance crew that looks great to me are the Boogie Bots and Supreme Soul. I'm surprised dance teams like Quest and Gen2 were not on the show.

my tivo only recorded the live audtions for the first three regions.
imo, so real and boogie bots were really strong
all 3 groups from the midwest were boring
the girl groups are hotter this time around, thank goodness

i wonder with 2 judges and probably a thousssssssand teams how hard is it to choose 3 -4 teams who would make it out?
do they really just see them on spot and decide like the show, shows? or do they call them back and place them in a room to do it again seems like a stupid idea if its just 1000 teams and only 4 or 3 get chosen on spot to me. (again what the show shows)

they go through a lot of pre-audition stuff.
And the crew that battled Jaba "Supreme Soul" have poppers from Soul-Sector/Machine Gone Funk Bionic and Pharcyde, they're ill and would take Jaba in a real battle any day.
A lot of the stuff on the show is rigged it's retarded, but they have to get what sells, and what sells isn't always the people that're the best or most talented.
