you derive by a variable like if you have your V = PI * ( h^3 / 48 ) you could calculate dV/dt which would yield a formula for how much the vulume changes over time, in this case V would be a constant function. If you are looking for dV/dh == how much the volume changes when h changes you can in this case just use the standard rule and get (PI/48) *(3*h^2). Pi and 48 are constant and doesn't affect the differentiation. | ||
