OK. Just a quick problem. Definitely not large neough to go in any other forum section, so a blog it is.
My friend had a problem with his StarCraft and he tried to reinstall it. Once he uninstalled StarCraft he found he lost his CD, so, he can not reinstall.
Is that anything he can do to get StarCraft back on his computer able to play on US West. (Not ICCup with their SC Mini or something).
What I am trying to is going for a .rar of my SC folder and uploading it to a website. Then he will download it. I will reinstall my SC with my other CD Key. Will that work?
If not, are there any other ways to get sc working on his computer other than buying the game again?

Yeah but it wont have his cd key would it?
At best it would be muted?

As far as I know there isn't a working cd key changer.

you can like, revert to a version with a working cd key changer and use that.

You can get a bnet cdkey, but it will be muted for sure. You can play on iccup fine. Get Daemon Tools and a BW .iso file, and you should be fine.

I have a friend who doesn't remember his key, but just copies the file over from his old starcraft directory which takes care of it.

Nah he has his key. He just doesn't have the actual CD that u put in ur computer.

If he has a valid cdkey jus go to Blizzard store.
Make an account, go to register our games, register Starcraft: Brood War with his cdkey and he should be able to download the 2 english isos for free.

lol if he has his cdkey how is they confusion just download the .iso and get daemon tools

Then again, if you have CD you can give it to him and let him install with that, then take it back because 1.15.2 will allow no-CD play correct? So as long as he has his own CD-key and you bring the CD for him to install it would work I think? Not sure though.

Haha. well.... he is an online friend I met in an sc clan a few years ago. While yes this would work, it would take forever for my CD to arrive at his house through the mail
