We seem to be making improvements in that department though w/ the awesome graphics team (look what they did for TSL?). Yeah H_. It is definitely fine but maybe a couple more images here and there would spice this place up a bit. | ||

But I honestly don't know what you mean most articles are already saturated by images, adding more would just make it seem unprofessional. I was just offering a suggestion for more pictures :S. I never said TL.net is worse, you dumb shit .kaz...I said I come to tl because its a better site ><. I just don't automatically see the words GG.net and then have a big screen of tribal fealty cover my eyes . I think the frequency at which they use pictures of progamers (and foreigners) in their news is better than TL.net's...what's wrong with a little opinion like that? | ||

But that isn't really fair either. TL caters to the Korean leagues while GG.net follows the foreign scene which doesn't have as much content to report on as you'd like, TL definitely has a more vibrant community though. | ||

Of course there is a little truth to the cliche. No need to take a stand, of course when people make fun of GG.net we're teasing you. And just like teasing anyone, there's a bit of truth in the comment, which is why it works as a tease. If you're confident in your site, its methods and its content, why should you care what lies we use to make fun of you? | ||

I was simply annoyed by the amount of people doing it, and some people aren't making it clear enough they're joking/teasing around a bit. I do believe the GG.net staff is very underappreciated, but I'm obviously biased in that. Anyways Artanis, you shouldn't take too much offense. You are one of the contributors that actually does a lot. But unfortunately, this is no joke, you are associated with a website that while important, is garbage. To say they have "nice" news that is prompt or w/e is just to compare it to the other websites... which btw, don't even report news. TL.net reports korean news and that blows gg.nets reports on said matter out of the water. GG.net is pretty much the only website that has non-korean news since WGT has officially stopped caring about anything. That monopoly doesn't really deserve undeserved credit imo. | ||

I think it's a little cruel to be harping on GG.net so much. I quite enjoyed the RR replays there when I used to check it fairly often (ie: when I used to watch a lot of replays). The ratings are fairly accurate (you can be sure anything with a score of 9 or 10 is worth watching), and they don't have broken links or anything. That said, my major complaints are that: Too many pictures and graphics make the page load really slow, the lay out is kind of annoying, and they haven't had a decent featured article in a long time (remember Art of StarCraft, which used Sun Tzu quotes and applied them to SC? Or that guide to Protoss that was never finished? Both amazing reads, and really beautifully put together with pretty pictures). The TL.net vs GG.net rivalry is downright retarded though. We're all one SC community, and hating someone just because they use a different website is childish. GG.net needs to start pumping out it's own unique (and interesting  ) articles again to get the real respect they've lost, but there's no reason to hate them, even if you think their forums are trashy and unmoderated (I've never really seen them as a forum website anyway...). | ||
