Wow I tried the exact same strategy in school to combat anxiety... staying up all night so that I'd be too tired to care the next day. It doesn't work man and starts to fuck you up after awhile. I wouldn't suggest resorting to medication either. Give meditating a try, work out more, and try eating a healthy diet. When you feel better physically it's easier to deal with the anxiety I think and hopefully you sleep more easily.

If you're still set on staying up all night... could drink soda I guess. As the other people suggested, porn works too.

From what I remember from psych, lack of sleep is going to make the problem worse for you. You'll have that floating feeling from watching the day come, but after a while, your day will be just as bad. Get yourself medication (fuck your hippy parents. this is your MENTAL HEALTH we're talking about) and do something that gets your mind off things. Get away from the things that cause your anxiety if you can. If you can't, then get treatment! We didn't invent prozac to make people suffer, it's supposed to help you, even if there are some side effects.

Yeah I'm going to find help soon, but my anxiety and stress has been snowballing the past couple of months and it is practically to the point I can't bare with it. I know some people take drugs, some people cut themselves and all of those severe responses to personal problems, but I'm trying to find something atleast semi-healthy. I think it is worth a shot.

My parents will not let me stay home tomorrow and I'm not going to be able to physically or psychologically go to school tomorrow and deal with my failing grades, corrupted biased teachers who can't help me or meet my IEP standards, nor any kids who constantly fuck with me all day long.
I want to fuck Soulkey with a Zelderan.

I've dealt with anxiety before, but it was never as prolonged or as severe as your problem sounds o_O. You have all my sympathies though. I know after a while it's almost impossible to get anything done and feel good about yourself. I really suggest that you try some kind of medication though. If you have to, get some cigarettes or weed. Or you can take a cue from Tony Soprano and see a therapist, and maybe score some prozac. The "healthiest" option though is to exercise. Last time I had severe anxiety it was at a competitive event and I thought I was going to go crazy but after I went for a run, I felt tons better.

HS is a pain in the ass, don't let the people get to you. You have potential in the future no matter what your shitty counselors tell you. There's always junior or community college, which is a great option by the way.

Keep your head up .

Just drop out of school and get a GED. You're old enough. You could have one within a month and start attending community college in the summer, or start in fall of next year.

Maybe work this summer to get some money to pay for next year if you aren't low-income and your parents won't pay for it. File a FAFSA tonight.

edit: just so you know I'm not full of sh*t...I did this....however I was in the 7th grade when I did the switch. Worked for me, 22 now, graduating from college this quarter.

Ya if you can, do what fight or flight said. I wish like hell that's what I'd done in HS instead of wasting away my senior year flunking everything.

I agree that staying up is not a solution to your problem, especially given the specific circumstances. Get sleep tonight, address the issue seriously after school tomorrow.

The best way to stay up is to actually have something to do. If your brain is actively trying to complete a task, it won't tell you it's sleepy. That goes for work related projects, and for personal projects.

But since staying awake isn't really your problem, for your anxiety I suggest this: Don't run from it. If you think it sucks now, it's going to suck a lot more if you let it build up. Making your body physically ill so that you don't have to deal with a mental illness is not a solution, it's self-destruction. When I was in high school dealing with my anxiety, the only thing I wanted was to be able to get to sleep with my head running in circles all night. If you're able to get to sleep, consider that a blessing. If you ever succeed in staying up all night every night, you're only adding to your problems.

The only thing that can heal you are friends and family, and you have to embrace that healing with open arms. You clearly suffer from self-esteem issues, so the best solution I can think of is just to allow people to show they think you're worth their time.

Other than that, if you keep trying to destroy yourself, that's just Natural Selection, huh? No matter how much humanity surrounds itself with arbitrary morals and shiny buildings, the innate laws of nature will have their way with the very weakest of man kind (the ones that would drink bleach even though there are warnings, in picture form, telling you not to). Show some survival instinct and grow up a bit

what is this mess about not sleeping leading to less anxiety lol?

you're just gonna crash at about noon and everything everyone says to you after that is going to drive you insane.

go to bed and get drunk before class, that'll help your anxiety.

Unless I play on my laptop, touchpad 62 apm ftw.
I told Cali once I was gonna make a name on ICCup that was "Four Pool" in Spanish and 4 pool every game. I might do that. But it'll get me bored after a while. I dunno. Anyone know of any good movies or movie websites that are awesome?

lack of sleep wont help the exam. You can get less rest, sleep 2-3 hours for the exam. But all nighter? Dosen't seem like a good solution
So i did a 9 pool on an island map, so what?
