Easter's coming
Friendly neighborhood priest.
This photograph was taken for an Easter Project which I'm working on with my cousin. It probably has nothing special, though I admire this person (I don't know him too well, actually). Guess he would be profoundly disappointed if I explained to him just how debatable/relative the God issue is.

Red. Just another macro shot. Is it too dark?

Unfortunately the photo project for the TSL is not going as good as I would have liked, I can't find inspiration and often feel discouraged, it is like I have some sort of mental block

I will produce some photos, though I doubt I'll be content with them.

I am very impressed with the third photo although I can't figure out why. It seems very professional looking to me.

Though I don't really think there's a set technical constraint that defines macro photography, what I understand by the term is real close photographing of a small subject or part of a subject, revealing detail that is not obvious at all, while creating interesting new and highly unusual perspectives.

It is the most intense play with your Depth of Field and lightning, and for good shots you would rather use a professional SLR camera, or at least one which allows manual customization of your F number and shutter speed.

Thank you. I was actually content with it also, and it was a little checkpoint in it's own for me personally, as it is among the first really spontaneous shots I execute on full manual mode, with manual focus/exposure and all.
