I just finished one of the most insane 3 months of work in my life. Things peaked in the last two weeks where I basically was staying up for 30-40 hours, sleeping for 6, staying up for 24 hours, sleeping for 4, staying up for 40 hours, sleeping 8 etc etc. I've gotten such little sleep in the last week it blows my mind that I'm still alive.
HOWEVER
I only have 1 week left of school. Only 3 exams and 2 big presentations left and IM DONE. For the summer, I'm literally going to be doing nothing but working out and playing video games. No job, no responsibilities, just plain out fun before I begin grad school (USC School of Cinematic Arts MFA in Interactive Media!!! AKA Video Game Design)
Given:
-work out at least a few hours 6 days a week. I want to be rather ripped.
Primary Goals:
-Purchase GTA4 and play that!
-Beat Mass Effect and BioShock (I own them, but never had the opportunity to finish playing them)
-Watch Lost, BattleStar Galactica, House, and Band of Brothers
-Write some more articles on competitive gaming theory and design!!
-Do some fun art projects!
Secondary Goals:
-Play through Fallout 1 and 2 again (my favorite games of all time)
-Play through all Devil May Cry games
-Play poker!
I can't think of anything else now, so I NEED YOUR HELP TL.net!! Any TV show, console, or computer game recommendation is NEEDED. Figure out wtf I'm going to do w/ all this free time! yarrr!! ;]

I fully support your decision to replay Fallout 1 and 2. God, they're amazing. I played Fallout Tactics just because it was interesting and took place in the same timeline. A good game in its own right, in my opinion. Also, GTA 4 alone will suck up days of your time.

I've found myself grown out of video games as I had gone through college...
How about take some time to travel around? It should be fun too.

isn't it advanced DnD rules? If so, i'll NEVER play it. I still refuse to play baldur's gate because the rules are just too difficult to learn lol

I wailed my way through Neverwinter Nights 2 without understanding shitall about the combat system. That's another great game you should play, actually.

Agreed. I loved Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 as well and I don't understand anything about DnD at all, the only thing I understand is the dice rolling part to determine damage and stuff. Baldur's Gate 2 may be my favorite computer game ever (other than SC of course).
Also in NWN2 the armor system worked differently, higher armor = better as opposed to lower; supposedly they changed the system rules, Dnd 3.5 or something that I picked up from browsing some forums n stuff

shadow of the collosus was like ..dreaming.. it was beautiful. that should come first.
..BG doesnt have to be difficult, its got a pretty good UI so if you *choose* to ignore the rules and just play with commono RPG knowledge you would be fine (its fucking fantastic - but REALLY long)

Make sure you set it in CPU mode in options (this means it doesn't use 3d card) and set off the color cursor!

its dnd, but you really dont have to know the rules, mostly because they're "modified" to the point of great simplicity  just read the attribute descriptions ingame and youre ready to go, that's how i played it 7-8 years ago, and it is not combat heavy anyway.
and to add to summer recommendations, read the Hyperion Cantos books, there are 4 of them, and Hyperion is the first.

yeah, since DnD 3 higher armor class = harder to hit.
