For those who hadn't read my inaugural blog post, I am now in the midst of trying to secure a job position for when I graduate. Over the next three days, I have:
Tuesday - Deloitte group-work task. I think the point of this is for them to assess how well we work in teams. My strategy is to sort of facilitate the discussion, without dominating it... because people who dominate team discussions fail at life.
Wednesday - Interview with Grant Thornton.
Thursday - Interview with KPMG.
Good luck to everyone else in my position!

you just need to jump in with a strong point to keep the discussion going, then jump out

I hated these so-called "teamwork" interview exercises. You probably know already but don't be too nice and let people interrupt you all the time (as that's what everyone will do to try impress the watching assessors).
Try to be engaged 150% with everyone. Easy kudos points for saying timing/structural things like, "ok guys, we've got 30mins and 3 areas to cover, let's aim for 10mins each", "and guys, let's not get too bogged down in this as we need to move on".
There will always be one or cunts who try to dominate. Let them shoot themselves in the foot. Trying to argue directly against (sometimes) bad ideas usually comes across badly. A good tip is to say something like "I think that's an excellent idea but....[insert clever shit here]" or "I see what you're saying, I guess an alternative would be...[insert more clever shit here]. It's all a big gay game.
You are applying for some pretty hardcore jobs so it's gonna be tough. You are gonna get better though after each interview/assessment so no worries if the first doesn't go as well as you hoped. GOOD LUCK.

Yeah, if someone tries to dominate, I'll be like "Well, [Name], I see you've thought a lot about this. What's your take on it, [Someone who hasn't spoken]?"

PricewaterhouseCoopers > both KPMG and Deloitte, ggnore
I talked a lot about these kind of interviews a lot with a HR senior manager when / after I worked for PwC at a summer job...but I'm still far too inexperienced to give you any useful tip in this situation.
