99% are clingy because it's what they're not being given. They want what they can't have. If you started giving it to them, they'd like it less and less.

Besides, even if you DO find that one, if she has a brain she won't talk about love the way these girls do.

Anyways, you are being contradictory. If you backstabbed your friend, there must be a reason. The reason is that you favored that girl over your friend. Seriously, all these people are right. What you did was kind of weaksauce. She's your friend's girl, and you kind of left him in the lurch. If you think she's being mistreated, talk to him first =/. IMO, that helps more and you don't fuck your friend over.
