Nice shit. You got some sexy schools going there; don't worry about the ivies and think about how sexy all the UC schools are. If I had the money I would've applied to UC colleges
Again, nice stuff :D
|
that's one hell of a scholarship.. definitely go where the money is, at least for your first year or two. grats on the UC schools, i hear berkeley is really nice
|
Nice list man! Im currently waiting for all my grad schools to come back and so far I have been rejected by some but I got into one of my higher choices (Louisana State University) but still waiting for some others. I shouldnt have fucked around in undergrad though (only a 3.3 gpa @_@)

Princeton: Accepted Harvard: Waitlisted MIT: Waitlisted UVA: Accepted <.< But yeah, that's pretty good, especially if you got your top choice with money =]. I got waitlisted from my top (MIT).

I'm not sure where I'm going, but I'll most likely go to Rutgers.
Obviously for the money (state school for the money). I would have reached higher but yeah, I need to go somewhere cheap.
That may change though.

7 kids got into Princeton from my school
out of those 3 sports recruits 2 "underrepresented minorities" even though they're like 1/128th spanish 1 legacy and one person that actually deserved to get in

Go for the scholarship, no question about it. (assuming you're at least ok with everything else)

for a state school, rutgers is overpriced. the years i've been there, the increase is 10% annually. and not to mention the budget cuts all over. unless you're at New Brunswick, you'll probably feel the brunt of the cut backs.
welcome to RU

haha, I would never go to a UC, too crowded (not that they're bad schools, I just couldn't stand it)
@raiame: Congrats! My best friend got into everywhere he applied, then waitlisted at harvard. lol.
@clazziquai: Rutgers? That's where my mom went... and I think lilsusie graduated from there. Don't know too much about it.
@iosef: I hear this year was the most competitive ever >_<
@LR: I can give you the names and numbers of some hot asian girls
@Jibba: no, it's ironic that I got rejected everywhere else

Hehe, I graduated a few years back and I heard it's completely different now. However, as for the price - my first 2 years were free so I couldn't say no to that. I went to Purdue for a few years too - definitely a different atmosphere than Rutgers. Felt like there was more diversity at RU from what I remember. After all this football hype though, not too sure how things will be.
clazziquai - what you planning on majoring?
