I just played a great game TvP @ longinus on ICC!
OK, I start off with my patented FD-without-tank-ultra-fast-CC build. I use this build too get the expo earlier than usual and then wait for the toss to double exp on me. Because i have my expo just a bit earlier, the window for a timing push is usually bigger so i end the games there.
I might write a word on two on that build one day just to see the feedback.
Anyway, this guy goes offensive 2gate (with cutting probes) and i have obv very fast CC. So it starts off micro intensive.
He tries to punish my greed with constant goon flow, i try all i can to plant as many mines as possible while the SCVs and scatered building slow down the goons.
I manage to repel the first push, but he proceeds with reaver plus dual expo. ACTION AGAIN.
With my econ running, a window for a push opens, i kill his min only. Another reaver drop!
See for yourself, I hope it'll be as exciting to watch as it was to play.
P.S. dont expect perfect macro from either of us, but my micro is leet. lolol j/k enjoy!

+ Show Spoiler +Looks like a good build I'll have to give it a try, I pretty much always use a 5 marine FD build(with tank). Never thought of making depots and shit to slow down those damn goons in that kinda situation you had at the start, interesting idea. Had a good laugh at the guy making 2 observatories and his freezing of 2 of your turrets with the same ob!. Good job with saving the scvs in that goon+reaver ferry drop and then the quick counter to take out his min only, that was pretty crippling for him

Patented? I've seen the vulture/mine/rine expand used before, notably Androide vs fOrU at WCG05 finals. You should go back in time and sue the bastard!
Edit: but your CC timing is different, a bit earlier than his IIRC. Interesting build

+ Show Spoiler +the counter attack on his min only was very nicely timed. i won't have dared to do that attack. but the special part of the game for me was when you sent another group to his nat up north and took it out after he sent all his goons to take out your tanks at his min only. the ultra aggressiveness paid off when you took out his nat.

ye fun game. but your build is so suicidal vs the one he did (2gate goon range) which is very common in a map like longinus too. if he paid more attention to his goon micro vs scvs, you would have never stopped him. luckily for you he was very careless and you killed about 10 or so goons with pure scv o_O good job nonetheless

My max at icc is C- but i never really tried to push it as high as possible just for the sake of it. I quit BW like a few months ago, now i play strictly for fun. I try to not play boring games...
Also, because i no longer care if i lose, i play ultra aggressive which is obvious in that replay. No matter the situation im in, im allways looking for a chance to hurt my opponent ASAP rather than to make sure i survive.
Before, my attitude was "am i good enough to survive and possibly gay out a win?" now it is "can you take what i got for ya, fucker?" Its so much more fun.
Yesterday I bunk rushed a Zerg, made my exp, a factory and barax at his natural and then killed him. it was fun. :D

yeah man i love that quote, it depicts perfectly what im going thru these days.
all my life i've lived in a shell scared to go out of its safety, now im trying all i can to learn how to break free.
Its all gotten better, I have a girl now which you know if you read my previous blog, i no longer play SC out of frustration to get better. Im starting to live i think.
speaking of TvT, i played a good one yesterday i think (or the day before maybe?)...
its also aggro from beggining(8rax), and from there i pound pound pound!! aggro monkey to use poker term.
