I just spent 16 hours in a fucking cell-like psychiatric clinic cause someone(yet to be determined) called in an anonymous tip that i was going to kill myself, apparantly the person got inspired by that hollywood celeb who had this happen to her recently, forgot her name.
Anyway, obviously I wouldn't have been taken there under any normal circumstance, but I was insanely stoned and surfing tl.net when they came knockin on my door, like I always am in the evening. (I have some friends that know i smoke alot of weed every evening, and hate it, could have been one of them)
Luckily I managed to cover up the fact that I was stoned.. somewhat well... but apparantly I was acting odd and "responding slowly, adverting eyes"... so they thought it was better I spent the night in the psychiatric area of the hospital, so they put me in the back of a ambulance kind of car and away I went...
So when I got there i got this like miniature apartment with a toilet and shower, and this short bastard dude peeking in thru the door every 20 minutes all fucking night, and this morning i had to speak to this fat psychiatrist and play along that I was kind of suicidial, cause i didnt want to point out I was just stoned. (Then I Realised after that i dont think they could have done anything cause like patient-confidiality, but hey better to not risk it)
You guys cant fucking imagine how traumatic this was on my fragile mind, i'm not smoking weed in like a week or something.

It would've been alright if you were sober. I mean, spending a night and all...
But, poor guy, you had to experience this scary stuff while high. I cannot even begin to imagine how scary it must've been lol

err...why would you go along with being crazy? just admit to the psychatrist you were high and be done with it nothing will happen because its after the fact anyways.

I would do that if i did it again, I was just quiet and they almost put words in my mouth. I was pretty much only saying "ya" all the time.
I was just so stoned that i was in shock when they showed up, couldnt do much better than i did.
edit* and oh, I'm not from a especially weed friendly place, so that also explains why I didnt point out that I was stoned.

Hahahahaha wtf. If I was stoned and someone I didn't expect came knocking at my door, especially people asking me interrogating questions, I think that would actually make me want to commit suicide right there...I think I would run away when getting into the car taking me to what I would think was a cover up for a jail cell. Yeah now that I think about it, you handled the situation quite well for being stoned.
Btw I always thought you were really from Sweden?

At the time I thought that if i said i was stoned, they could probably think i was stoned CAUSE i wanted to commit suicide and it would get worse
I kind of got into the act of being suicidal, felt easier than to complicate the situation further with drugz

Has anyone else had this like cold sweaty feeling thru your entire body before? like when you are sick? anyway, thats what i felt when i opened the door to these bastards, i never want it again.

to me it sounds like you took it way past what was necessary, i mean, no matter where you're from being high is not nearly as bad as being suicidal. if it was clearly a prank, why not explain that to them? if you were seriously incapacitated from weed, that must have been really good shit

It sucks, but these suicide call ins are like bomb threats (from what I've heard of them at least). Even if it's obviously a prank, they're required to do everything they can just in case.
Glad to see you're looking on the bright side though, this will make an awesome story in a few years.
