not to be rude, but did you finish highschool? your profile says that you're 23, and this kind of math should be no trouble for a 15 year old

You know, back in China when a second grader can't answer those questions the teachers have a ruler on standby to beat the living **** out of him/her. Your nephew's mom might want to try that, it's surprisingly effective.

a) you cant do it
b) his mom cant do it
c) he cant do it

only c is mildly acceptable.

Did you use implicit differentiation or Newton's linear approximation method for this one?

How'd you get from the first line to the second line? Final answer should be just 5/6 + 1/x.

He was showing his work? LCD and then added them. by the way, it should be
5/6 = -1/x; you just moved it to the other side w/out subtracting.

The original problem was 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/x, not
1/2 + 1/3 + 1/x = 0
Sorry if I'm missing something obvious. Though realistically, the OP probably meant the latter, or he meant 1/2 + 1/3 = 1/x
