But wow, I don't think I ever got THAT stoned on marijuana. That is something! Well, not smoking again may be the best decision. In case you do try it again, though, learn a valuable lesson: watch your dose. Don't feel like you have to take a bunch of hits right away. Feel out the dose and the differences between different doses. Also, with any new drug you may ever try (if you never try any new drugs, that's great!), start at the lowest dose and work up. Marijuana is surprisingly powerful, especially when you aren't used to it (haven't built a tolerance.) I used to be a heavy marijuana smoker, and now I smoke maybe once every 2 or 3 months. I have no desire to do it 99% of the time, and I truly believe drug-free is a great way to go. Incidentally, when I do smoke, even low quality weed, I tend to only take one or two hits. | ||

I think your decision to stay away is perfectly reasonable and intelligent. I really want to clarify that I do not advocate drug use, and did not mean to in the post above. I just think that IF a person chooses to do drugs, they should be careful and intelligent about it (start on small doses, use in extreme moderation, etc.) Good read. Marijuana is powerful. | ||

It sounds like you just had a typical anxiety/panic attack on weed. Your vision distorts and everything feels REALLY tight and confining. Your head hurts and mind spins. And a deep sense of base-less panic/paranoia/fear. Yeah, sucks dude. It seems reasonable that you are staying away. Unfortunate but look out for youself. | ||

I guess it's *possible* to have that type of reaction from weed.. but you would have to have an extremely low tolerance. Someone who has this kind of reaction to weed shouldn't be doing any drugs quite frankly. I've smoked plenty of weed and never even come close to experiencing something like this... and i've taken like 20 bong hits in a row before of hetty weed which is really good (60 bucks an 1/8 and up) All that happens is you fall asleep. But I guess we all have different reactions. There was that cop who called 911 because he ate some pot brownies and thought he was dying =) | ||

The first time i smoked I got high, realy realy high, but on the second time, i had a similar expirience, just wasant a bad trip. Me and 3 more friends went to another friends house for a session, the most experienced one was doing all the work and when i looked at the joint i couldnt believe, it was HUGEEEEE way bigger than any pen, and there were TWO. I clearly remember, after giving a couple hits, i felt it, light began to bend around me, when i smoked, i could only see the burning fire, after the hit all lights came dancing back to theyr places (it was dark) and formed the landscape once again. Every single light i looked was glowing and moving, eventually i layed down and closed my eyes, and had amazingly intense closed eye visions, with sonic mario and other videogame characters, along with prismatic patterns in unbeliavable ways. My biggest bad trip was with acid, when i tought my friend was a demon working for bill gates. =) peace and good decision | ||
