I hope Rabbit takes these temp bans as indicators that they need to see a specialist and adjust their medication, or at the very least have some supervision so that they do not have their hands on technology. They bought Wombat 12 months of TL plus on a whim; I can only imagine what other crap they bought with their credit card in this latest manic phase. If they are shitposting like this here, I can only imagine what they are saying, sending, and posting in places where it might come back to haunt them in real life. TL blog section really has seen a significant uptick in deranged posting over the past year or so. I guess this is as good a place as any to think out loud: is it because as the StarCraft population gets older, more and more people hit those troublesome late 20s early 30s, the age at which schizophrenia often emerges for the first time? A gradual degradation of mental health over the course of 15 years culminating in ever more exaggerated manic phases? Been thinking about whether I should write a blog of my own on this topic (and associated topics, such as infamous shitposters and permabanned users), but it feels like it might be a bit too close to bullying/witch hunting. Then again, this is the internet, so if someone takes words written on a screen too seriously it's kinda on them, and if we can't have a few laughs along the way at people's craziness then what's the point of it all anyway? ![]()

I have asked they get refunded that rather overly generous TL+ gifting although not sure if that’s doable or not Your hypothesis makes some sense to me anyway! I was pretty much fine minus some occasional low level depression until my mid 20s when I had a bad manic episode out of nowhere. I’d assume others have had similar or perhaps even later manifestations which would somewhat fit TL demographics

But it is not nice to call other people "monkeys" you might hurt some feelings even tho I understand the sentiment of superiority. Being a grease monkey is a positive. You can get a Walmart t-shirt claiming you are a grease monkey with a drawing of a monkey on it. It means you spend a lot of time fixing cars and you are very effective in doing so.
