What I find interesting is that of all the matchups, great players and bonjwas in history. There has always been a huge number of Terrans dominating, and Protosses adapting but of this evolution, but there hasn't been a single Protoss who was dominant in that matchup as Bisu in PvZ. Even when Protoss's were doing good againts Terrans, Terrans still dominated the leagues hardcore. It seem there was never a protoss player with flawless play againts Terrans of all the Terrans that have come through.

So who you do guys think, ever came close to the nearest flawless play againts Terran near Bisu's PvZ level? I mean Stork clearly has a flaw, Bisu deos as well, as well as Ra. I think Reach would be the best candidate, do you not agree?

Garimto. Sure, it's a long time ago. But his increasingly macro oriented style paved the way for the future of PvT. And the fact that zealots were stronger back then probably contributed somewhat as well.

Basically forced the Terrans to eventually abandon the 2 fac opening.

Over the last year Stork's PvT is at 75%. 71% over the last 2 years. That's pretty close to Bisu's PvZ over the last year (76%). In 2003 and 2005 Nal_Ra had 70% win records PvT. Reach doesn't even come close to that. In his most successful year, according to TLPD anyway, Reach barely had above 60% PvT win record.

I thought Zealots were weaker back then with 80/80 instead of 60/100.

Stork is the best pvt of all time imo (if bisu is the best pvz)
His use of arbtiers in the proscene started the arbtier trend in pvt which is now a major part of PvT. This is comparable to the 'bisu build' (whatever that is..) in its influence on the mu. Also, he just plays some damn sick games all the time. Gotta love him.

iirc wasn't it Midas's innovation of the FD which gave terran a hugeee advantage in the PvT mu which was finally sorted out in So1 OSL thanks to pusan/anytime. I dont think terran were 'forced' to give it up, just that the fd was such an incredibly strong weapon that it surpassed the 2 fac in its usefulness.

Stork dominates Terran.
Being healthy, it has been said, really consists of having the same disease as everybody else.

Terrans gave up 2fac way before Midas even invented FD. 1fac siege expo was popular for a long long time

stork is the guy..
one hand he standardized the arbiter usage years ago...
other hand he standardized reaver+early carrier as a general strategy recently.
And all is illuminated.

You're right. I meant dragoons were stronger back then. 2 Fac pushes are mostly against goons only.

That's because zerg dominated protoss even more at that time. My thread on that mecanism.

I think I'd say stork as well. He is clearly not domination all matchups, and I wouldn't say that his PvT is perfect. It's only damn good.

After I saw how Stork lost vs Iris in that OSL bo4, and how he had trouble againts Flash, I wouldn't say Stork has THAT great of a PvT.

But again thats just my opinion.
