sleep is far more important than studying if you are convinced you need to stay up to work, just get up early instead

I'd recommend eating carbs like bread and pasta, which are a longer lasting form of energy.

turn the light on, and have some cofee, don't lay down, and have the same mentality as you would have when anticipating a LIVE EVER OSL 2007 FINAL BROADCAST!!!

Like, if I need to stay up until 3, I will shower at like 12 and drink tea constantly.

don't stay up late if you can't I disagree. I've written some of my most brilliant shit when I'm sleep deprived and can barely go on. It's not something I do very often, but it helps for important papers and finals. Then again, I think I need that feeling of desperation to really get going.sleep is far more important than studying I don't do anything besides caffeine though.

for example last week i got up really early to do some work, slept one hour around lunch, then i fell asleep again (by accident) at 7pm only to wake up at 10pm. After that i was not sleepy at all and stayed up studying until 8.30 in the morning (had breakfast at 4.30). The next day I woke up at 12.30, not worse than a really lazy weekend.

But yeah, often by studying without a good amount of sleep will do a lot less good than getting some sleep, getting up early, and cramming it in.
