I haven't been active on TL lately because I've been working hard on my music. (Sorry BigFan...)
I imagine there are not many Indian people here (I can only think of BLinD-RawR) or people who are interested in South Indian Music.
Although I'm not Indian, I love their music because the melodies and harmonies are rich, their rhythms grab my attention and many songs feel so viscerally energetic.
People talk about how jpop and kpop are richer and more musically complicated than western pop and it's the same with Indian pop imo.
I particularly admire how they manage to retain traditional elements in their pop music, whereas it's mostly lost in Chinese pop for example.
One day, Saregama (India's oldest music label) contacted me to make a cover of their music. I initially thought it was a scam. I was in disbelief.
I've been posting my own music for many years without getting much traction and suddenly this happens...
8 months of struggles later, they have finally published my music video on YouTube (it's on Spotify too):
The lyrics are basically about a husband and wife arguing with each other and how they don't love each other anymore, that's why I'm showing some angry and sad faces π
I hope you'll enjoy it despite not understanding it and thanks for your time βΊοΈπ

Edit: I'm sorry for being a shill but this reaction video says a lot more than I can express in words:
I was planning to celebrate but I ended up being emotional
