This is just a rough sketch, a direct photo from my actual drawing. I will edit it once I reinstall Photoshop. I have mixt feelings about this drawing, though I think the shadowing is relatively good, the proportions are way way fucking off
There was a pic very very similar to this one, which I found a few years ago on StarCraft.org. It was the work of the user 'Chevron' on that site, one of the most talented guys I ever saw. I'm talking about talent comparable to Blizzard's very own Samwise. His zealot sketch inspired me to do my own; the stance of the zealot and some of the shading is very similar to Chevron's (as in I looked intensely at his pic on my monitor, then free-handedly drawn my own).
So no, I was not very original with this one. But I was a learning newbie back then. Today I think of myself as a somewhat more educated/skilled newb
