The first action after I watched Bisu_vs_Hwasin MSL S3 games, neither writing an exciting game report or blog entry, is calling my best friend late at night and screaming "Hey, I'm definitely flying to Seoul to watch this kid's live final games!" Then she LOL and said "I remembered that you did not follow up SC progaming for years. How come? Are you kidding me?"
True, I did not follow up SC progaming past 30 months; I did not watch VODs or REPs; I did not recognize half of names in the latest Top30 list. But I'm 100% serious I want to see this revolutionist in person and watch his fantastic games. I am surely love the oldschool generation, however, I feel like I have not seen such a genius Protoss player ever, neither Nal_rA nor IntoTheRain.
I know I am relatively late. I came to know about this revolutionist just this August! Someday I was really bored and idle on TL site, the news front page with the latest update of Power Rank caught my interest. Suddenly I found the number one player was an "unknown" face who was a seventeen-year-old Protoss. I could not believe it. Terrans and Zergs dominated all progaming ranks in the past. And after watching dozens of his games, I knew it's real.
I called several travel agents and sketched out a plan to Seoul to watch MSL S3 final if Bisu made into the final for the third time. Everything goes well except I was told this morning I HAVE TO register the passport IN PERSON in the police bureau of my hometown. Wtf? What a stupid rule! Flying home from Shanghai costs more than the expense to Seoul. And I have been busy with my training program through December. I do not have time to go home until next Spring Festival. God! It means I can not go to Seoul until next spring next progaming season. I'm so sad.
Another stupid rule (but tolerable):
For each Chinese who intends to travel to South Korea, he or she must provide a piece of bank deposit bill of at least 50,000RMB (equally US$6,700) under his or her account.
What else can I do?
I don't like traveling in cold winter and maybe an OSL final would be greater to watch. Oh wait, what if Bisu makes this OSL as well? (I made this sound like he had already won triple MSLs, never mind.)
T_T That would the most bitter-sweet thing for me ever.
