New York, New York!!!
Okay folks, here I am in New York city since yesterday night.
This is actually my first stop on the way to Seattle. Of course one could say New York is very far from Seattle, and I wouldn't argue with that, but I always wanted to visit the damn place so I jumped on the occasion.
In 2004, when the WCG were held in San Francisco, I took a plane and flew all the way from Switzerland to L.A. just to attend. Spent about 3 weeks there and in L.A. then flew back to snowy Switzerland.
I was frustrated.
Why travel so many miles to just stay 3 weeks? What was the point in that? I had fun, ok. But was that enough fun to justify the carbon emissions from my plane? My answer was ; no.
Never again, I said.
So when I decided I wanted to go to Seattle, I said, this time I am not staying 3 lousy weeks. I thought bigger (better) and ordered a 3 month ticket.
So beware, Americans! I am here. For good. And i brought a microphone!!!

Nothing special, I just liked the building and the lighting
Advertising in the sky... I was actually impressed

Central Park (my feet hurt... did not used the subway to get there)

have fun in the US...seattle is a pretty cool place, but you can get depressed from the cloudy weather and rainfall if you aren't used to it

you went the best time of the year to visit nyc. fall is just around the corner. so its not too hot nor too cold to do much of the sites etc walking. although a jump on the metro wouldn't hurt.
