it is not there, it is here. it's not tomorrow, it's today. fight for the present and the future will unfold how you desire, sometimes even better. + Show Spoiler + if not, you can always fool yourself. that is how everybody ends up doing it.

As I look at my Firefox BBC news feed right now I see: \"Small Israeli Forces Enter Gaza\"; \"Health Fears After Ghana Floods\"; \" Report on Hindu god Ram Withdrawn\" . Looks like new iterations of the same old same old to me.. Waking up from the daze of mundane existence (the daily grind, the system, the man) is itself an age old process that, in my personal opinion, merely entails personal enlightenment. Rest assured, the systemic trite existence that so many are stuffed into today was born to some extent of necessity, and not pure sloth. Please don\'t get the wrong idea about what I say, to give up the worldly concerns that ultimately fuel such profound icons as Britney Spears and Paris Hilton would make my head explode in sheer, unadulterated awesome. The problem with this is that pulling out the mechanics that drive these things eliminate the jobs that allow poor Chinese workers (et al.) to have their token daily bowl of rice. Surely there\'s a solution to this conundrum but its execution will be infinitely more complex than its conception on paper. As to the fulfillment of sexual desire - the use of sex in media is just exploitation of basic human desire, no different from the manipulation of money, power, etc. If you\'re to look at it on a more intimate, person to person level, I see it as follows: since when did we decide that we can\'t be \"animals\" and that transcending the workings of nature and our sexual progression is a marked benefit to us as people? Insofar as I\'m concerned this would be an insult to well adjusted animals everywhere. Just call the kettle black, take it for granted, and allow this acceptance to open your mind up to newer, more radical enlightenment. In all realism, the \"progression\" (this is subjective but for debate\'s sake let\'s assume we\'re on the same page on this one) happens through gradual, even sedimentary changes spotted with notable immediate and radical ones. I propose that as a people we value the notion of self-actualization and find a fulfilling purpose in life (the arts, sciences, whatever floats your boat) and pursue it in a manner that isn\'t detrimental to fellow man. In this, through the course of our 100 steps forward and 99 steps backward timelines, we will at least die fulfilled, and if through these pursuits we become greater than the sum of our parts, then you could at least call it a wash when we\'re long fuckin gone. I\'m just a lowly musician on a mission from God, so if you want a more eloquent take on this principle of co-existence then check out the Taoist principle of 無為 (Wu wei) . That\'s yet another post that became a long self indulgent rant, so I\'m sorry I kinda wanged your blog there T_T Hope somebody makes something of it ~
