Was pretty good but I don't really know what to think of the movie. It's like nothing happened at all. Did he die (I don't know the real story)? Did he fix any relationships? Did he accomplish anything? Was never really a big wrestling fan either, character is bad ass, acting is good. Just one of those movies that I'll watch and forget like Slumdog (god that name is so fucking gay). 5/10 The other day I watched this British UK lovestory movie called Cashback. It's about some loser college kid who supposably can't sleep anymore (4 weeks, wtf?) so he gets a job as a night shift clerk at some CVS type store.He befriends all the other losers and gets the ugly girl (she gets hot at the end after makeup though lol). But the other twist is that he can freeze time and since he's an aspiring artist he likes to molest and declothe the women and draw them. It's cool that there are plenty of titties and all but I can't help dodge the feeling of being in on this sick borderline rapist's fantasy. blah 2/10 | ||

And/or don't abuse the ability of imagination for the film. So like they can beautifully choreograph any fight and throw in the exact amount of blood etc. But often they still use the same camera switching angles and still animation with a flashing background, etc to create movement/motion. Its jut boring to watch, especially so since there are no actors/camera to train/direct or anything, you just draw it and film it. So in essence I hate anime. One of my goals in life is to create an anime that doesn't fit this typical layout that most anime fall into. I wrote a rough draft and drew some quick sketches and stuff, but it's so far out in my goals that I can't even begin to try something with my current wealth status. I should probably take a few courses on film/animation as well as some writing and drawing stuff. It's just not applicable for me right now. | ||

You're watching the wrong stuff, maybe you just don't like the majority of main stream anime, just like how the majority of Hollywood movies are crap. I've seen Berserk, and while the series had huge potential I just found it extremely pseudo-homosexual (especially griffith) and there was all this filler crap. If they just kept the plot on what happens in the first episode and continued off from the last episodes I bet it would have been so much better. PS- This anime/series also falls into the fighting scene failure. Just watch how the 'camera' switches around to avoid showing anything at all, or just flashes a still frame to create action. I also find it pretty annoying when a character is mid fight and like freezes time so he can assess the situation and figure out basic stupid shit. Ex; "...He probably broke other warriors swords easily, since we have both big swords we are at least equal strength!", no shit sherlock.
