But the problem here is, the kid gave them the impression he only had a extractor left. He didn't lie, but didn't tell them that he still had a hatch.

I'm already cooled down, I have no problem. I was more mad that he couldn't just come talk to me about it if he had a problem. He had to come to TL and post it and then mix up our words. Did I react negatively? Yes, but I get frustrated when I stick up for someone and then they do stuff like this. It is a pretty shitty feeling.
In the same manner though, I'm not going to watch my words and worry about what gets said. Yes its just a video game but I know everyone has gotten upset at the way has gone before. Its because we care about this game, or else we wouldn't still be playing it 10 yrs after it was released. So, I'm just choosing to remove myself from the situation with the knowledge that he is just a 14 yr. old.

For future reference superior, when you say "leave extractor" or anything like that it measn you give up and are not in the game anymore, that system was used on PGT and ICCup, you take away from the trust and everything, If someone asks me to leave his extractor and i leave extractor pool hatch or something i do not exspect him to come back into the game, if i have 15 zealots killing his shit and he says "leave pool plz" i can leave right then and there, he gave up. When you say leave a structure it means you give up, even if they leave more then that you still gave up.
If you tink you can live and survive, then don't give up and say that. I don't want to have to report a game everytime my partner wins a 1v2 because they eliminated me because some kids go around saying "let me ob" and then rebuild.
(that's like 15 unneccsary reports in this ICCup season alone)
In short, don't be a dickhead, you were BM. They rightfully won that game from the sounds of it and a cheater lost them the game.

Saying something like "please save extractor" is the teamplay equivalent of saying "GG" in a 1v1.

Well you told them you were dead and only wanted to watch when you actually weren't. Since that was what let you come back yea it was pretty lame.
If you were going to rebuild you should have at least said something.

it's really bad form to take advantage of your opponents who were willing to let you obs the game. however, to blow this whole matter out of proportion with a "hay guyz what did i do wrong?" blog post is even worse. take into consideration the fact that this guy supported you on tl when quite a good number of people were flaming your commentaries, and it all adds up to a HUGE FAIL on your part. you have quite a bit of growing up to do.

You shouted save the extractor and not save the hatchery so I don't see how it's bad manner.
Unless you said gg and then save the extractor, it's ok.
