It lets your units zoom back to full-speed from still! Can anyone explain what he's saying? There are likely lots of other Korean Pro youtube vids that would be good to be translated, there should probably be a translations requests thread ...

One of those things that when you're a new player and your opponent does stuff like that, you either think they are hacking somehow, or you're just very frustrated. I guess in this case the trick is seductive enough when you learn about it you feel like you just jumped up in skill.

Cryoc Germany912 Posts August 12 2018 22:15 GMT #3 The trick is to move an air unit somewhere and then shift click twice on the same spot somewhere else. If you then give a move command after the unit stopped, it has full speed immediately. This only works for air units. But the actual utility of this bug is very limited because it takes quite some time to accurately shift click on the same spot to get this behavior. It is certainly useful for scourge that wait to intercept drops, but positioning them right in the first place also does the job (except for maybe speed shuttles).

Cryoc Germany912 Posts August 15 2018 19:10 GMT #5 Pressing stop is not part of the trick. You just wait for the unit to stop on its own and then when you move it, it has full speed immediately.

This is what I did: 1) Right click on a spot 2) Shift right click twice on a different spot 3) Wait for the unit to move to the final spot and stop on its own 4) Right click somewhere else and the unit should be at max speed right away What did I do wrongly?

JieXian Malaysia4677 Posts August 22 2018 20:17 GMT #7 I've sent Cryoc a PM and I've finally got it to work after he replied to me! 1) Right click on a spot 2) Before the unit stops, shift right click twice on a different spot ensuring that both shift right clicks are precisely on the same pixel. 3) Wait for the unit to move to the final spot and stop on its own 4) Right click somewhere else and the unit should be at max speed right away
