Allston is an now-deceased Star Wars author famous for Caamasi light sculpture

The Caamasi are a race famous for unusual memorypowers. The light-sculptures are supposed to be like modern statistics projections where colors depict time-series. Presumably the Caamasi memnii or share-able memories were important crafting Allston's famous invention.
