The Hardest Part

The hardest part of anything I do is right after the initial surge. You get past the opening and the energy wears off. The middle is hard and the ending is even harder because it's when you have to polish everything. It's when all the glaring mistakes are revealed and you realize, you have to go back, and do it again. Make it right. The magic is in the little details.

When I'm grinding through the middle is when I want to quit.
When I'm grinding through the end is when I want to throw up.

Can't let up when you to the hardest part.

This applies 100% to my art, except the beginning and the end are the hardest. The beginning when you gotta draft in the gesture and get the proportions right. The middle is the best, putting in the details and bringing the image to life.
Then the end when you're polishing and refining and doing the boring shit like adding background etc is annoying af.
