a late late late game TvZ in BW!!!!! 59 minutes long 140+ APM intensive game on Neo Electric Circuit. The game took forever to finish, because, both me and my opponent kept trading blows, armies and securing expansions only to lose them later on. I think I damaged my left wrist in the process haha. For background, I've won late game TvZ before whenever I managed to damage my opponent's third and/or fourth before defilers are out, however, in this game, I was not able to do that. My opponent double expanded early on to take a quick third after cross-spawning then took two side bases which he defended well enough early on from my drops (mostly lost sunkens or zerglings).
From then on, it was constant aggression, drops, counter attacks, avoiding ensnare and trying to irradiate everything in site while trying to micro my army in some rough situations. My macro fell apart a little before midway through the game, but, I managed to survive and macro harder than ever to stay alive and made some good decisions to take the game.
Rather than tell the tale in mu usual written battle report format, I've decided to put together a gif file that will show some of the more important engagements in an effort to clue you guys in on what transpired. My advice is to wait until the gif file completely loads before watching it.

I want to add that BigFan has NEVER EVER won a late game TvZ before (in hundreds of games) that doesn't involve taking down a third or fourth in the midgame so this is a huge improvement for him.
In the following late game I learnt the lessons (since this is my first ever late late late game ZvT), and corrected many mistakes I've made, mainly to mix in hydras (and upgrade them) -- and won the late game under 40 mins  If i had hydras in many of the engagements i could have taken down a ton of vessels, which I did the next time :D
Still, a great achievement for BigFan because this is a huuuuuge improvement in skill for him. Unprecedented level of play.

Those erasers were huge. I like how the scourges basically avoided the vulnerable vessels

Wow, that gif is epic
Late game TvZ is probably one of the harder things to manage in StarCraft, because you have to defend such a large area while still applying pressure / scouting.

haha i expected as much that's why i pushed on :p and i was just kidding around, peruvians just have some crazy zany strats on ladder (which end up working 90% of the time), so don't take it as an insult at all
