Coming off the tide of my latest blog (Warning: may be dangerous to your health), in which my best friend basically attempted to molest me, I had been feeling very lonely and seeking companionship in the way of romance, while evaluating my whole life and lack of close friendships.
Until...I saw a girl so beautiful that I wanted to cry.
I was watching a youtube video in bed, and the girl in the video was reading her favorite inspirational quotes, and not only was she unbelievably pretty and beautiful, but her personality was so genuine and real, her voice was so soft and gentle, and every time she touched her hair my heart skipped a beat, when she licked her lips my eyes were magnetically drawn to them, and whenever she moved her head to the right or left I found myself moving my head in the same direction and copying her expressions. When she said a little joke we both smiled at the same time. When a strand of hair fell on her face I stared for a second at how peaceful she looked and then a moment later I tried to slowly brush her hair to the side with my fingers. I even tried counting how many times she blinked. At the end of the video I closed my eyes and smiled and a tear rolled down my cheek because I knew I could never have her. Even though I only know her from youtube I think she is the most perfect and wonderful person I ever laid eyes on and she makes me feel something inside that I never want to let go of. I hear her voice in my head and I can't stop thinking about her.
She was like an absolute angel and if I could I would bury my head in her armpit and surrender myself to a blissful afterlife.

No, but the screen of my laptop is always very hot for some reason and the air coming from the screen is quite warm, and when I bring my face near the monitor it almost feels like a girl's face is almost touching mine
The reason that I didn't originally include the video was because I realize that taste and attraction are subjective things. Second, I was operating on about 4 hours of sleep so although she isn't exactly drop dead gorgeous, she got me up and going and did the trick (which was good enough for me). And third, subconsciously speaking, she reminds me of a younger version of my mom. Weirdly I often find myself attracted to females who look like what my mom used to 25 years ago.

I think that's a natural psychological phenomenon. Some study of Freud?
Hahaha I thought you were a girl when I read the OP so I didn't understand the other poster's complaints about how it wasn't homoerotic enough. Weird how we're wired to find that text a bit creepy if you're a male writing it, and cute if you're a female, because that's kinda what I told myself. Fucking social constructs.
Edit: On the other hand, I learned the existence of "ASMR artists" thanks to this thread. Seems to me that it's how we spell "creepy whispering goofs" nowadays, but maybe I'll investigate more on that.
which is , as far as i can gather, what young people call "emotional surge" (or what i might call dopamine surge)
apparently a 10/10 seventeen year old girl in HD whispering in your ear inches from your face gives 70,000 people an emotional surge (who would have thought).
idk why people feel the need to go batshit insane and coin it ASMR though
ASMR sounds sexy in theory (girl whispering in your ear), but I've never seen one that wasn't ridiculous and comical. Anyone here besides fluffy actually enjoy them?

In the remotely possible case that OP indeed is Shauni, I wouldn't be so sure about your statement
I think it's safe to say that OP has indeed reached Shauni's level. He's crying over a random youtube girl's beauty and counting how many times she blinked. Oh lord, even as a teenager I was never this desperate lol
