Just because you believe something to be shit doesn't mean it is. Just because someone thinks something isn't shit doesn't mean it's not. Catcher in the Rye- thought to be literary art, personally I think it's shit. That comparison doesn't make sense.
BUT
What is causing you to feel this way? You should examine your life carefully and solve it. It's not good to feel sad- but at least you express yourself. You also shouldn't think things you do are shit, there's being honest with yourself and there's being brutal to yourself.
You'er never going to be perfect, there's always going to be someone better, but that doesn't mean you're mediocre. It means your human. Don't dehumanize yourself. It seems like you feel deeply which is good, but don't mentally punish yourself for knowing how to do something many people don't.
I probably just rambled and made a lot of bad assumptions. But, it's good to express yourself. Don't judge your expressions. It's okay to be sad, but eventually you have to get over it. It's okay to be average and its okay to feel.
If you ever need to talk I am sure many people would love to listen. I'm sorry if this doesn't seem to have logic.

There's nothing wrong with the song. You're just working through a difficult time which everyone has to get through at some point and this is your way of releasing all your anxiety, fears etc... Infact, you should keep writing more and expressing yourself. Repressing emotions is very damaging for the self and it's better to release them in blog format than do it on a family member or friend where you'll end up regretting it. Best of luck!
