How Google and the NSA May Steal From Joe
A major opportunity for criminal behavior exists in current Cloud Storage practices. Today I will be picking on Google, as they are the biggest player in the Cloud Storage and Online Software arena. Current practices open up the opportunity for major theft against individual people by corporate giants and government security agencies.
The immediate next sentence describes the risky situation in clear detail.
Documents of Cloud Storage users are regularly “looked over” for marketing (i.e. in the case of Google Mail) and security concerns (i.e. in the process of the facilitation of judicial investigation and/or domestic spying). This “looking over” is done by research investigators among Google employees and from among persons acting on the government’s behalf........
These investigators gain the opportunity to snoop into documents produced by Google users. This type of invasion into the user’s privacy is conceivably resulting in “interesting things” from user documents being forwarded to the Boss, enabling Google or Governmental research agents to steal things like the format for how people design their documents and then take that knowledge into application, production, and “innovate” in their program suites thanks to this unpaid for, undercover crowd-sourced development of their applications and innovations.
It is abundantly clear that Cloud Storage providers are sitting on treasure troves of information that is of huge financial value to the company, and the invasion of user privacy that is permitted under today’s legal environment opens-wide the opportunity for companies to grow rich on crowd-sourced ideas without attribution nor payment to their users whom they discretely rob intellectual property from through the legal investigation of the documents created in their Cloud Storage solution and Google Docs.
Many users are fearful of opening up and freely producing in the clou.........
