So, first off, TL Strategy is now officially recognized as TL staff
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Other big things:
Releasing a TON of new material right now, from stylistic guides to game analysis, etc. We literally have 3-4 articles in the wings ready to be released, but we're staggering the releases. The most recent one was published today and goes over the return of hellbats in TvZ (Yay Terran!). We have a few more game analysis guides on the back of this and also my long-awaited "Scouting in ZvP" guide that I keep promising to people in the Zerg Help Me Thread. Expect weekly releases for a few weeks (unless a tournament interferes with the release).
Second big thing is: TL Strategy wants to host a community tournament. The TL Strategy team recently participated in a team league with not too disappointing results. However, we felt the organization level of the tournament wasn't where it needed to be, and that we could probably host one of our own. Our main goal with a tournament like this is to not only create a well-designed league that could potentially grow and become more exciting in the future, but also to bring the community and TL posters closer together through a fun community event. This league would be purely just for fun, would be casted and streamed, and would even include some fun events like the notorious RedBull 2v2v2v2s or team 4v4s or Macromicro games.
As of now, we're still debating over whether to do a team league or an individual league. In reality, we really want to do a team league, but we're not sure if we can have the participation we want (4-8 teams of 5 for a total of 20-40 people), in which case, we might start with an individual league to drum up support and then switch to a team league later on.
I would really love some feedback on which type of league format people would like to see as well as any thoughts or ideas or suggestions on guides, guide formats, etc., etc. As always, we appreciate feedback, we appreciate the community, and we love to see SC2 grow and flourish! :D
Also, if you didn't read our Season 3 map preview with strategy spotlights for each map, you really should do so. We put a ton of effort into this, and I honestly think it's our best work so far.

This league would be purely just for fun
Our goal would be to just have a fun community event for Team Liquid and try to get everyone to know each other a little better and have some fun while doing it (much like the LRSL, which was an incredibly fun experience).

Thanks! We're gonna be working on stuff and we'll let you all know in the future. Your feedback is always super important, which is why I post these blogs updating what's going on. It's nice to see what people think of our efforts and which directions they think we could go with things. As always, we're open to suggestions on what we can do better for the good of everyone.
