The ping to TheAbyss.ru (or any server) doesn't really matter though, the ping to your opponent / allys is more important. Ping to server only starts to be crucial, if it really doesn't work out, e.g. if the join button is greyed out and it takes you ages to join one channel or the other. However, in my experience, greyed out stuff and severe lags are caused either by the server being generally overloaded/dying (e.g. if one of the ingenious AH updates were only done for DotA) or if the own connection is shit (6112 is blocked / Firewall or AntiVirus acting up/ISP issues). Also wb OP. If you want to attract more players, I suggest carry this message onwards to other platforms. I guess TL people still know where to play BW, or at least now where to look up the info if they feel like it. | ||
