Was going to draw this on toned paper, but then I have to use white charcoal and pastel for the highlights, which is fine except you can't spray-fix those and also frankly it's much simpler to draw in black rather than the reverse. I'm really digging vine charcoal lately, this medium is so easy to manipulate.
