Nice read, I really hope that you'll be able to support yourself on WCS next year, your casting impressed me a lot during IEM and I'd love to see you at a lot of future events. Keep up the great work man!

I'm really jealous of Nathanias. I don't want to blog steal, but I will say that I am in Korea right now because I was hoping to get in on one or two Chinese / Taiwanese events for casting. And I know I can't make it big casting with these two regions, but I was at least hoping to get one or two of those events each year as a venture.

None the less, a huge shout to Nathanias for showing us one can go from nothing to offline event caster in a year's time. I've told myself that when I hit my 2-year mark and haven't found an offline event that will need me, I will quit casting and go to full-time work in whatever I can find here.

Wow that's quite a lot of money... I don't follow you so i don't know how many hours a week/day you do but i thought that streamer made very less money out of streaming. What is your average viewer number ?

Anyway that was a great read. Enjoyed your cast at IEM. You are just going a little too on "solo casting mode". Sometime you don't let your co-caster talk. That's not a terrible thing but maybe you should get used to co-cast ? (i don't know if you have many experience or if you are just solo every time).

Nathanias, it's still surprising to me how underrated you are. You're a very good caster and you definitely deserve a longer-term job in SC2. I'm pretty relieved that you were pretty satisfied about IEM, because you were fantastic. You did seem kind of reluctant to give some of your thoughts a lot of times, though. I think you were being a bit too cautious, but I guess that's just the way is it for most people (not to mention you worked with people who have been casting longer than you have--musta been somewhat nerve-wrecking). You're an enjoyable streamer to watch and I love supporting people who have passion for SC2. I hope someday you get out of this situation you're in, somehow find a solid income, and finally live comfortably and independently. Lookin' forward to your next stream, sir.

Less than $1000 a month is the salary of someone who is on minimum wage if not lower than that... and that's also just a hypothetical number since Nathanias doesn't get even close to 5k viewers most of the time. Unless Nathas has a secured spot in a financially stable team that pays salary, has a part time/full time role for frequent events, or has personal endorsements and/or sponsors and other side-related things... it will be a very tough life. Stream/ad revenue is also skewed because many people have their ad-blocks. More people need to have the decency to support the streamers they enjoy(especially those can actually afford it). Just wanted to let you know if you don't already.

Yes sure but i don't know how many hours he streams. If it's something like 20H a week, you can do that while working a normal job (would still need a lot of energy). I'm just curious
