What's up guys and girls(maybe) I'm back with more interesting stories.
and thanks for reading my previous stories!
back in the days, actually I didn't along with other players save for TSL.GuineaPig.
Most of them were older than besides TSL.GuineaPig.
and I was so young at that moment(age:16) I seldom talked with other players and I got warnings because of my misbehavior
And I didn't practice a lot.
One day I was trying to sleep and I heard some few players are talking about me
It wasn't like trash talk or something but they were talking about my gaming skills and they said it's so so.
after hearing those things, I thought I should qualify GSL open Season 3 then prove them wrong.
my match was at Day 3 and Guineapig's match was Day 2. and I heard good news that he qualified
Gunieapig and I used to say like "Hey I'll see you in the Final" for joke. we used to motivate each other.
And It was my turn to qualify. my group was latest and I went there with Coach Lee, Revival and Trickster. Trickster and Revival were in the same group and my group wasn't tough.
But I had dangerous moment.
I was playing against some unknown protoss and he was playing colossus and phoenix.
It was xelnaga cavern I made 200 army then attack. Meanwhile, Alive was watching the game.
and During the fight I thought I won and I raised my both hands and Shouted "Yeah!"
but suddenly my army got destroyed and I felt some bad sensation then I looked back
and Coach Lee was watching my whole game DAMN and he said "WTF are you doing you raise your hands from keyboard and mouse during the game?"
If I couldn't qualify I would have kicked out of the team.
the other games were hard as well but I made in to final.
The time was pretty late and I had like 10 minutes break time so coach lee said "Lets get something to drink" then we went to top floor and the guard said "The mall is about to close so you are not allowed to enter here" then coach lee said "My player is in the Final which prize money is on hundred million Won If my player lose are you going to take all the responsibilities?"
and guard shouted "Why should I" they started to bickering. eventually we go in there and get coffee (coach lee is so funny sometimes it was the Final for the qualify LOL)
And My Final matches were easy and I made into GSL open 3
so Guineapig , Fruitdealer, Clide and I made into GSL 3
after qualify guineapig and I went out for drink with other friend. I drank when I was 16 LOL

very weird look with shabby hairstyleI practiced really hard for the tournament and my first opponent was Dreamizer Zerg player.
Actually I didn't CHEESE a lot in ladder games but at this moment CHEESE was kinda strong strategy. I cheesed him and easily win the first game. then second match I played macro and I showed nice micro controls. http://www.gomtv.net/2010gslopens3/vod/1346
But the second match was very very tough player. NEXGenius was the best Protoss at that moment everyone expected NEXGenius will rape me because he won the blizzcon.
so I needed very nice strategy to beat this guy.
First map was Jungle basin which was really terrible for Terran.
I practice nearly 100 games to synchronize all the timing perfectly.
Game one.
you can see my SCV hide for a moment and then go into his base then send another one and killed on purpose for making sure I didn't hide my SCV.
However he scouted his natural for some reason I can't never understand.
You killed my SCV and looking for SCV? and I thought I might going to lose this game.
but I got lucky and I killed him with my CHEESE
Second map was metalopolis I 1/1/1 Him and I won I also practice 100 times to make my 1/1/1 perfect but, some people who has bad point of view about cheese they just think I didn't practice any and Cheese free win. It is totally wrong.
Round 32 was so Important in former GSL because prize bounce to 4times
Round 64 : $300
Round 32 : $500
Round 16 : $2000
My next opponent for Ro.16 was Startale.Squartle
the first map was blistering sands this map was good for protoss.
second map was Shakuras and last one was Delta something..
First match I Lost big army near my base and raped by DT and GG
I barely heard people shouting when I lost my army and I starting to feel embarrassed
because I was playing shitty.
and during the second match I tried to concentrate as much as possible but because of the first match I couldn't I played too defensive and I was slowly losing the game.
However, miraculously I hit the huge EMP into sentries and Psionic storm was about to finish
Storm was completed after I killed almost his unit and I won the second match.
Third match was Delta !@#!@# ( I don't know name in English )
at GSL Open 2 TSL.Killer lost to MKP by this strategy
and I thought this is very very strong. I practiced this strategy over and over And my micro was nearly perfect with this strategy. It's build 1 barrack in the main base and proxy another barrack and make marauders. unless you are not prepared and trained for this strategy it was nearly impossible to hold. and I could feel he wasn't ready for this strategy and I won the game made in to quarter-final.
Frankly speaking, Terran was strong at this moment and CHEESE was very strong as well
but I practiced Cheese 100 games and my opponents usually practiced 1 or 2 games to hold it
This can explain why my CHEESE was strong.
After winning against Nestea I said "I had personal problems so I didn't have much time to practice"
in interview. I think it was between Dec. 3~6 and at this moment Guineapig had arguments with the team and he decided to leave the team. And Dec 4th was also my birthday so I went to incheon (which is an hour away from team house) to convince him to comeback.
I drank until 5 AM then woke up at 9 and started to practice with hungover because I spent most of time convincing him. Quarter-Final was best of 5 I cannot practice every map especially blistering sands. so I decided to put 1 All in here because I didn't like the map.
Actually I didn't prepare 3 All-ins
I prepared 4 Macro strategies and 1 All-in
First map was Lost temple Macro game I lost.
Second map was Steppes of War this map was impossible to beat Terran.
15hat = CHEESE never can defense. I was surprised when nestea was going for 15hatch
because probably he knows it's impossible to hold. so I instantly pull all my SCV and Killed him
Third map was Shakuras. I played macro aswell but his macro skills were way better than mine so I lost again.
Fourth map was blistering sands I prepared my 4rax Cheese All-in (During the practice All the zerg playeres said It won't work out besides revival) and It worked out game.
Last match Xelnaga Cavern I prepared 12/14 rax and macro.
I just pulled 2~3 SCV to get some advantage with my micro however, unintentionally I almost finished the game with this. That's the reason people think I prepared 3 CHEESES to beat nestea
After beating Nestea I got blamed by so many people Actually I didn't care a lot but I was intimidated like crazy guy can kill me in the street or something lol.
so I said in interview I will come back with more macro games for Semi-Final.
Semi-Final was against Hongun.Prime. His play style was unexpected and he had a lot of secret strategies also decent in macro games. I played 40~45 games in a day I think I've never practiced like this before.
I lost the first game and Second game was Xelnaga Cavern. I played 2rax 1 reactor 1 tech lab then CC I lost my army on his lamp I pulled back and suddenly my monitor turned off. so I pause the game and asked to check my monitor again. (some people said that I intentionally pause the game to distract hongun and make my own time to think that was so hilarious LOL) I hold the voidray stuff it wasn't big deal I was pretty good at holding those stuff.
I won 3rd game and 4th game I CHEESED him he went 4 gate which can counter cheese but he couldn't hold it. and after that some people said "hey you said you won't cheese again!"
I was like WTF I said I will show more macro game, I didn't say I won't use Cheese.
I lost game 5 and won last game and I made into Final
After the match Coach Lee hugged me saying "Good Job" and he was crying.
and he said don't tell other players that I cried because it's embarrassing
now I can say this! because Coach Lee left the e-sports <3
