by the time this current starcraft 2 season ends, I will hope to have reached the 1,000 ladder game benchmark. Currently I am somewhere around 850-900.
Last season, I only managed 450 games, but to be fair it was during my college semester and I didn't have as much time to commit to sc2 as I do now. Anyways with this season 4 lock also comes the close of my summer.
I strive to obtain knowledge, that is what I live for. My life goal is to learn as much as I can in the time that has been allotted towards me, and although I have grown exponentially this summer, I always seek room for improvement and what I might do to become more efficient, it's in my nature.
Well, I am looking forward to the future, the possible balances that are coming to starcraft 2, the new maps, and most of all the new people who will break into the professional scene, the new strategies that will shift the meta game, and my general future in general. What about you guys?

Wow, that's a lot of games o.o Have you felt like you've been making decent progress in your understanding of the game?
What league are you in?
Good luck!

I currently reside in the top 600 masters in the world and I am in masters league. I have felt my progress improve in leaps and bounds. It has also shown me exactly how much practice programers put into their builds and strategies and how much farther I have yet to improve

Not to take away from your accomplishment, but this season has also been a lot longer than previous seasons. That's also why everyone has so many more points this season.
Edit: That aside, good luck reaching 1k games :D

That is a lot. I usually average 200 games a season. But I have been playing less and less, just other games have pulled my interest lately. But Grats.

That is impressive. Even 450 games during college is commendable. Can you be more specific about the learning experience? How many games per day were most efficient; at what point did the improvement really take off?
Side note: Being in college, I encourage you to take careful note of your grammar. I almost stopped reading because I was so distracted.

1000 games is crazy T.T lol. I'm not even sure how much SCII I've been playing. Maybe at best 25-50 a month >.>

Kas broke the mark a month ago.

For me most effeciency came from about 10-20 games a day. If I played more, I was overplaying and my play would suffer. I only see improvement very gradually, like every week I fix a couple small things and I move onto the next week to further improve myself, it's a long process.

Good job to you, years ago I had hoped to maintain this play level but either real life got in the way or I got sucked into other games.
I think most I've ever done is 300
