So...i know many people have this problem, but when you first start playing starcraft 2 for fun/learning how to play, it gets difficult choosing your race...some people like Terran because of how diverse you can be, and likes the whole splitting mechanic of the game, while others like zerg due to the..."zerginess" of the race, while Protoss is the big ball of death :D
Now, when i first started playing SC2 first week it came out, (WoL, not Hots <3) i took a quick liking to Protoss b/c that's what i was in SC1  but in SC2 it seems less..."diverse" then it was, its usually the same build over and over and over and over and same army composition over and over and over. So i decided to spread my wings and roll random for awhile. At first i was liking Terran a bit, but the whole splitting and dropping and widow mines thing now with hellbats just doesn't suit me.
As Zerg, i felt there was soooo much versatility and was sooo much more fun than Terran, not OP wise but more of just the amount of things you can do. So i eventually switched my main to Zerg for a long while to around platinum/Diamond then the darnest thing happened, i slowly started to get bored...
I switched back to Protoss, BUT it sorta feels...."flat" but since im used to playing it i still do pretty good with it haha but no matter how used to it I am...relearning another race seems to be a giant pain in the ass
So now i'm stuck between two options, Drop Protoss and switch to Zerg which i have more "fun" with when not facing Terran <3 haha! or stick with what i'm good with.
Now don't get me wrong i have fun with Protoss, but when compared with Zerg it fails to surpass it.
Does anyone have any stories or experiences liek this in which they were able to make up their minds? <3

Edit: And for the love of God don't be biased towards one race or the other its more based on whats easier to improve with, a race you already do well with or a race your worse with but have more fun?

You can try playing random. Eventually, when each game starts, you will subconsciously be glad or disappointed when you get a certain race, and that will tell you exact what race you should play.
For me it ended up being Protoss.

It's sorta the same with both Zerg and protoss depending on who im versing <3 i know terran is out so, i wish i could random two races :D

I think originally in BW I just like Zerg because they were cool looking, and they were so different. I'd switched to Terran for a little while a bit before the SC2 beta came out, and I loved that, because in SC2 Terran has so many options and fun little harrassy type things.
But I came back to Zerg because the style of play is absolutely the most fun thing ever. There is nothing more satisfying than a perfect surround, or some good Baneling hits. Protoss doesn't have those perfect moments for me.
Also Mutas are broken. <3

Although I like playing as Zerg more than Toss, I just have absolutely no idea what to make when I am Zerg. I'm better with Toss because I usually know my plan and what units I should make.
I like Ray's suggestion to play random. I'd do that for a while.

Play Random, definitely.
I have had 50x more fun playing SC2 and have gone up in leagues after switching from Protoss to Random. My understanding of matchups has increased, my macro has improved, my micro has improved.
Talking to some people who play Terran, they have said that they're finding P tricky to play against because they have never had to use ghosts before, and so have never had to touch a spellcaster. There's benefits to random that aren't immediately apparent.

I've played all 3 races pretty extensively, including a long period of time where I was playing random.
Dude, I hate playing zerg. I spent a month or two playing it when HotS came out, and it's just no fun. You literally spend 90% of games injecting, spreading creep, and making drones. The only big variations are when you take gases. Protoss is a lot more colorful in that you can do very specific timing attacks, recall, go into really fun lategame scenarios with templar all over the map and constant zealot harassment warpins, etc.
So...if you like the inject/creep spread game, play zerg. For me it was just too monotonous.

Thanks :D think toss might be the better option just b/c I won't spend 50% of the game injecting lol!!!! Who knows maybe ill go back and forth :D only way to know is to play

I may be biased but I think zerg is likely the better choice as I think it is more fun to play.That and statistically protoss has been the worst performing race.I have my own opinions on why that is but I will spare you ^^
