Hey guys!

You are new to this blog or missed the last couple of posts?
If you are new you should check out my first entry in which I explain the concept of this blog.
If you missed the last few entries just go to my blog and check out the missed posts.
You should also make sure to follow our Twitch.tv channel as we are streaming our practices from Sunday to Thursday at 7pm British Time.

Yesterday I wrote about the whole expanded and more thought through hero pool and after yesterday's practice I must say I feel way more confident with the line ups I can draft now.
We finally don't just die to split pushing anymore and we also have some team fight components like Warlock available.

Even though we lost on of our games yesterday I must say this was only due to very poor performance by us.
We were running a TA as a hard-carry but didn't use her strength at all and just played the farming game (and a really bad one aswell).
Even though we manned up at the end and managed to coordinate in team fights a bit better it was already too late and their Gyro, Magnus and Furion had outfarmed us hopelessly.
I feel like we could have fought against their late game had we farmed equally in the laning stage.
Of course the Gyro is the harder carry compared to the TA but the Tinker mid and my Beastmaster on the off-lane gave us a slight edge in the teamfights (well..until the Mag got a 5-men RP ^.^).

Second game was way better because we just outfarmed them and with a Gyro on the 1 and me playing the PL there was just no hope for them to outfarm us.
Even though we didn't beat them in the laning stage Long and me were able to just completely outfarm their carry/carries in the mid game and therefore split push and in the end team fight them to death.

I'm really looking forward to practicing today because I hope that Chippy and Beana man up again and show what they really got.
They are a really great support duo and as soon as they start ganking mid a bit more if Long has his lane under control we will make a huge skill-jump again.
(To be honest..I feel a bit sorry for support players..You expect them to pull something great off in almost every game whereas an off-laner can just be like "Yeah but they shut me down!").

Anyway this is it for today's blog and I hope you tune in to our practice stream at 7pm BST (in 1 hour)

Questions? Pms, comments, streamchat...Just ask ^.^

Do you guys ever practice against yourselves?

Stuff like running you vs your trilane, or letting Long practice soloing vs common offlaners while his supports are off doing other stuff?

Like, the 5 of you could run: position 1 in safe lane vs your 3 position, position 2 in mid vs positions 4 and 5 roaming (where 2 wants to farm and 4/5 want to kill mid OR offlane from some unexpected angle). All 5 would be practicing a "new technique" and it might give your supports more confidence in leaving the carry solo for a bit.

That is just an example of what kind of "drill" you could run. Obviously there is a ton of value to playing against other people but there is still some merit to simply trying out new stuff against each other in quick games to figure some stuff out.

PS: I don't know if you use it or not, but practice using smoke to gank. It makes more difference than you would think and way more than pays for itself.

Well yeah we do use smoke ^.^
It's more that Chippy and Beana don't want to let the off-laner get experience.

The whole playing against ourselves thing sounds quite cool.
We have like 10-20 minutes left every practice so I guess we could fit that in and just get a bit of extra practice done.
Thanks a lot for that tip. We might even do that today. Not sure how Chippy thinks about it (he's so negative about everything..As I said..Childhood )
Anyways..Practice starts now

Tune in: HERE

Well, with the right ward and some intelligent smoke use, the offlane can't get experience even if the supports are not in lane because of the threat that they MIGHT be ganking him. All you have to do is put the fear in their offlane then your job is done and as long as you are off the map he can't come to lane. Maybe practice buying fast at the start of the game and controlling your jungle so that their offlane can't place wards for vision of your supports. As long as the other team doesn't know where your supports are you should be golden.

I can't watch stuff (work lol).
