- Match 1: Kaipi(36%) vs Empire(64%)
Link: http://dota2lounge.com/match?m=227
Observation:
Kaipi is the obvious underdog here. They actually just faced each other in the big point battle and Kaipi dropped 0-2 to empire in the semi final. A lot of communication mistakes were made with double mek and poor execution. There were also questions why didnt we see EnternalEnvy playing?
Empire however also dropped 0-2 to Rox.kis, a relatively smaller team in the CIS region. Despite the first game were their game to lose, the 2nd game showcased quite a shaky play style from empire. Was the play style of Empire figured out and could Kaipi learn from that? Could Kaipi be hiding their cards for this china ticket?
Prediction:
I think the winner will be Empire in the end. Historically they are a stronger team with a well rounded talented line up. Sure their coordination could be off time to time but that is a common sign shared between the CIS teams.
Bet:
3 commons or 2 rares on Empire gives you are well rounded number without taking too much risk. - Match 2: Dignitas(74%) vs QPanda(26%)
Link: http://dota2lounge.com/match?m=228
Observation:
First thing first, the time slot is SO annoying for dignitas. If its early morning for Qpanda, its 2 AM for dignitas. Their players should either be extremely exhausted OR still trying to have their sleep schedule reset correctly. Qpanda is definitely has a head up going in.
Yesterday the server between EG vs AL were EUWest. If same apply to this match, QPanda could potentially sitting on a 30 pings whil Dignitas struggling from range of 100 to 150 or even 200.
Its worth to note that both teams run the signature strategy of 4 protecting 1 with Wagamama and Aui being the 2 primary carries. However their carry line up does not conflict so we could see a wide variety of ban slots being reserve for those. We are talking about Tiny and LoneDruid(beside naix gyro) for Aui as well as Void, Alchemist on Waga.
While Dignitas showcased a wide variety of strategy, their strengths and weaknesses for the last few months. Qpanda has been in the dark waiting for their chance to launch a surprise attack like today. So far no one know anything about this team that 2GD is investing in. Their only signature picks so far has been rotating around the secure of Shadow Demon or Wisp as well as a Mag/BH for select in the first few picks. If anything i could potentially seeing Panda being picked up to make sure that Select wont feed as much as he used to while being usefull and shut down whatever sneyking pick.
Prediction:
I would not be too suprise if Qpanda pulling an upset here. Even though Dignitas has been rocking that power ranking by beating Teamliquid 2 out of the 3 BO3s they met, the mistakes they have shown were quite a lot. By attacking Dignitas strong points (Sneyking + Universe), Qpanda has a good chance of snowballing, out carry aui in late game. PL is a must ban.
Bet:
Bet on Qpanda ofc. 4 Rares is definitely the ideal bet here but the 3 commons is quite affordable for lesser players :D.
