You're screwed. You shouldn't have been cavalier with her friend as now she's not interested or attracted in you. You have no chance with her. Talking to her in person wouldn't have made a difference, so try not to spend too much thinking over what you could have done differently around this girl. It seems clear to me that what you should have done differently was the whole friends with benefits thing.

If you do one girl in a group and another is weirded out because they are friends, how do you ever expect the prudiest one to be interested in you?

Nope, is to have a sane relationship. I wouldn't mind at all if she would have told me 'I want to be with you, but are you ok with the fact that I want to remain virgin until marriage?' I would wait, I've had enough of short stories, friends with benefits and all that bullshit...
