My retro game collection continues (Huge Pickup)

So I have been doing this blog on here on occasion over the last month or two but mostly just on youtube so if you are interested in this stuff you can follow it more up to date there.

Basically I set out to collect all the NES games, SNES RPGs, PS1 RPGs... but now it has turned into something like I just grab everything I find pretty much that I remember even if I didn't own it as a kid. Some stuff just because it looks cool or because I remember hearing about it.

Needless to say the collection has gotten substantially bigger since I first posted my (maybe 40-50 game collection about two months ago) I am now roughly at 200 games spanning a few systems. I own a NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Game Cube, Dreamcast, PS2 and PS3.. With a DS Lite and Gameboy Color for handhelds. I am trying to get my hands on a Turbo Graphx 16 and I believe my girlfriend is buying it for my birthday in May (fingers crossed).

Also for the 30+ gamers here I have managed to get my hands on a Match: Spectrum 6 pong console which I will be doing a retro review of soon on youtube.

I can't even list everything that is in this video because we didn't take the time to write it all down yet. But I can say there are over 100 games and 6 or 7 consoles I believe.

Any collectors out there in the sc2 world? I know there are

How is your NES collection going? Do you have a copy of Mr Gimmick yet?

As much as i love physical disks they will break eventually...thats why anythimg before the n64 i just do roms now but ive got rouhly 10 games for nes 20 games for snes 3 for n64 and 10 for my gamecube. ds wise i only kept my little home brew hard drive and my game boy broke so now i use my phone and ive got ~5 games for it(would you believe most of them are pokemon red blue and yellow lol). And last on my console list is roughly 20 ps1/ps2 games. PC Wise Ive ton of retro games like d1 d2 sim cities bw heroes of might and magic age of empires 1+expac and also aoe2/age of conq xpac plus more like halflife dod cs teamfortress morrowind III and all the xpacs, the one series i did sell was cnc though wasnt as fun as i grew up. Also have TONS of retro star wars games spanning multiple consoles (snes gameboy gamecube pc ps2) ps2)

Is that rare or something? My parents ever bought me around 10 NES games and thats one of them, still have it somewhere.

Didn't even know it was called Mr.Gimmick till I googled it and recognized the box.

Edit: Did some googling and seems to be worth a couple hundred dollars, had no idea. Think I'l put it somewhere safe and save it for a rainy day. Makes me wonder if I have any other gems there.

My NES collection is over 120 games.. I haven't picked up anything really rare yet for it though as I've been focusing more on the foundation before I spend bigger money on single titles.

I have roms too but nothing beats playing it on the real thing. One day maybe the games do break but I still have decades before that becomes an actual issue. Even then, having them in boxes or in person will still be awesome for me.
