WOOOT I GOT PROMOTED TO MASTERS TONIGHT (HotS ladder)
I'm not really that excited, the feeling is just more like "well, finally", but at the same time I'm surprised i got promoted at all
I've played exactly 50 games in HotS (with 32 wins), and I haven't beaten 1 master, in any of the games, I played against 3 masters, and lost to all of them. seems strange to me that I got the promotion, but hey, I'm not complaining.
The game that got me promoted wasn't particularly interesting, I held a protoss' DT harassment without too much trouble, counterattacked with MMM, killed his colossus tech and a decent amount of workers, then rebuilt an army and ended the game.

No, I got rank1 diamond for a period of time, but hovered around top 25 diamond most of the last couple seasons, I lost my passion for a while and just watched without playing any games

I got promoted to Diamond after winning my first 9 games. I got promoted because the guy DC in the first 2 minutes of the game.

Congrats. The most exciting times for me in SC2 was when I started out in masters league. When I progressed to high master/low grandmaster level it got too stressful, so I quit

Same. Moving up through Masters was great fun. Then you realize you have to start playing 6+ hours if you really want to progress and all the things you have to fix are these tiny little shitty things and you lose games because of very frustrating reasons :/

Naw I don't get stressed, permanently chill guy, I'll ladder about the same amount as I always do, and hopefully improve.
I don't believe I'll ever reach GM, but if i can hang around top25 that would be nice
