Wow has it been 10 years already for me on this message board? O_o. Time sure does fly and I feel very old all of a sudden lol.
It seems like yesterday that I remember the Liquid’Nazgul bot in Starcraft battle.net channel: clan x17 advertising the brand new community of Teamliquid.net. I remember first visiting Team Liquid and being captivated straight away at the sheer amount of pros who were posting on the site at the time. Team Liquid really seemed to be that great little community portal which would be your stop for all community news Starcraft. SCLegacy and Broodwar.com were good at the time, but they seemed to be missing that community feel.
I remember in late 2002 being an avid reader of many a topic on tl.net and on 12/1/2003, I finally took the plunge and registered on this sleeping giant of a website. While not being much of a poster, I would stop by the site no less than 3 times in one day, some day’s it would be much more!
So many memories from over the years flood back Manifesto7 almost banning me when posting an inappropriate image on the forums. have to love Mani who was really one of the most respected admins on the board. Always had a lot of time for the guy.

INControl and I being major douches towards each other. Always finding ways to make the other look bad with our flaming aimed at each other. Never liked Geoff all too much at the time, but really admire that he has kept going with e-sports, and where he has gotten to.
Favourite Team Liquidians met in real life? Would have to be out of RowdierBob (aka PandaSaurus), or Legionnaire. PandaSaurus is one of the biggest trolls you can meet online, and this does not stop when you see him in the flesh, he was no stranger to trash talk at WCG 2004, and would taunt all of his opponents before the game on what he was going to do to them. If you fell victim to Bob he would never let you forget it in a hurry!

Peter “Legionnaire” was such a friendly bloke, that let me use his Teamliquid account to report WCG 2004 Results back to the world. I think I must have forgotten my password, or was just simply too lazy to log back in myself.

Around 6 months ago I recently started an IT job in a government organization. The team I am in has 10 other people. Anyway I am walking back to my desk from lunch, and I see the very familiar Team Liquid website on one of the other guys screens. I get a bit of a buzz from this, and immediate call out “Liquid Yo!” and that colleague and I continue to have Starcraft discussions all the time now.
I want to thank the creators of Team Liquid for nurturing my brain all of these years and helping me grow into the man I am today! No other website community has enslaved so much of my time as much as Team Liquid has! Thank you to the community that frequent this place. ESports would be a very dull place without any of you!

I can't even imagine being active in a forum for such a large amount of time lol. Congrats for it though, it would be call if everyone who did get to 10 years got a Xel Naga badge or something.

Read your blog, check my profile and guess what? Turns out I'm hitting my 2 years today too, had no idea. I'm no community staple by any means, just your average shit-posting Joe but still, even 2 years feels like a lot.
Congrats on your 10 years man. I really wish I could have been on this site in ~2003, seems like it was a really tight-knitted community.
