Sup guys, I was going to do a battle report / blog on my (re)promotion to diamond, but I lost 3 games in a row after going 23-5, and then some guy left at the start of a game and I got promoted. badass. Anticlimactic much? (I got promoted at the end of last season, won 3 games, lost 2. then the season ended and I played no more. Won my placement and got platinum? oh well..)
Sooo.. Have a bonus girl blog because I have nothing better to do before I go to work! :D
There's an amazingly good looking girl with dyed red hair and a great tan (she looks like Hayley Williams would if she tanned), and I am an average-looking guy with weird hair, so not exactly a match that's going to happen. Originally I planned to not talk to her and focus on getting a girl who is actually in my league, however my friends had other ideas.
I was blackmailed into asking this girl out, or they would make my life living hell, so after much arguing I went up to her after class.
"Hey hows it going?"
"Oh good, you?"
*Smalltalk for 5 minutes"
"So, Anonette, you should come out to coffee with me some time"
"No thanks, you aren't my type"
WOAH WHAT. My immediate reaction was to have great amounts of butthurt and anger, so I responded without thinking
"Hey, you aren't really my type either, Let me guess, you like guys with an IQ lower than the amount of calories in a can of diet coke, who are six foot four, and spend most of their time at the gym, well I like girls who are 5'6, have black hair, green eyes, and would rather play vidya in pyjamas than spend 3 hours on makeup, I didn't even want to fucking ask you out"

WHAT. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!
So we went to coffee, and she is a total. fucking. bitch.
She was straight up rude to the serving girls at the cafe, she complained about the coffee, complained about our classmates and our teachers, and how stupid people are, then proceeded to talk about herself for the next hour. I don't think she said one nice thing about anyone the entire afternoon other than "haha, you're so funny".
"This was fun Ikidomari, we should do it again some time"
"yeah, maybe, if I have time off from studying"
so she asked if I want to go out a couple times after that and then stopped trying.
I get that I don't entirely come off as the good guy here, asking her out and having a bit of a rage, but jesus, how can anyone be so rude and get away with it?
It's just now sinking in that I, a 5.5/10 at best kid look-wise, has basically rejected a 9/10 girl, and as much as I hated her personality this makes me sad ):
sorry for the rambly/hard to follow writing style, I'm not too good outside of essay format, or writing a horror story =="

lol, it just means that you have your values set right IMO. You'd rather be happy than date someone you have zero interest in, despite them being super hot. Props to you. I hope the best for you.

In regards to the OP, i'm not sure if you really did reject her by dodging her follow up hangouts. Notice how she agreed to hangout after it was clear that you understood her type? Also that she seemed not to be trying to impress you? Anyways, i think your approach is great! DId you ever know a girl who seemed to have more guys interested in her than other girls who are equally attractive? It struck me reading this blog, that the explanation for this is that her secret is that she just tries and being confident enough to try is enough..

I didn't "reject" her has such, by saying "I'm not interested in you, sorry", but she asked to hang out on at least 3 occasions, and I said no to each, she got the idea.
I don't think either of us was too upset

Dude you're playing it right, so keep playing the game and I don't mean the vidya kind 
Admit it, it was more fun and story-worthy because 1) she shot you down instantly 2) you went berserk and 3) she suddenly saw the potential to hang out with an honest and self-respecting guy. Would this have happened if she just said a boring "yeah sure" then acted all nice and courteous throughout the coffee and never talked to you again? (of course not)
I smell many more good girl blogs from you. Keep writing for us!
